We promote the school within the local community by participating in a range of activities and by inviting people from the local community in to school to work with us. This includes:
- visits from Faith leaders from our local Churches, Synagogue and Mosque
- visits from local MPs
- work with The Reach Free Secondary School on a maths challenge for our Year 5 and 6 children
- participation in local netball and football leagues
- participation in the Dance Festival at Rickmansworth Secondary School
- visits to local places of interest that link in with our Curriculum, including St Peter’s Church, the Mill End Café, the Aquadrome
- visits from our local PCSO’s
- participation in the Rickmansworth Music Festival at St Clement Danes secondary school
- learning pedestrian skills in the local area
- hosting a School Council meeting for all local primary schools, where we talked about Democracy
- special assemblies led by people from the local community, including parents
- a visit from local magistrates.
