Tours for places for September 2026

Below are the dates for Nursery and Reception tours for places for September 2026. 

Come and meet Claire Foad, Headteacher and the Early Years team. 

Please contact school office to book a place (01923 773478).

If you are unable to attend any of the tour dates, please call the school office and we will be happy to arrange another time for you to visit.

Reception Tours:

Thursday 13th November 2025, 9:30am

Wednesday 19th November 2025, 9:30am

Wednesday 3rd December 2025, 9:30am

Nursery Tours:

Wednesday 21st January 2026, 9:30am

Tuesday 10th February 2026, 9:30am

Thursday 26th February 2026, 9:30am

Admissions into Nursery, Reception and Years 1-6

Admissions into Reception and Years 1-6 are administered by Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) - please see the link below. Deadline dates for applications are published on the HCC website each year.

To apply for a place at Shepherd Primary School, you must complete your application on the Hertfordshire County Council website - please see the link below.

To apply for a place in our 4 Year Old Nursery, you must apply directly to the school.

Appeals for school places

Appeals for school places in Reception and Years 1-6 are managed by Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) - please see the link below. Deadline dates for appeals are published on the HCC website each year.
